The Peninsula District Golf Association district ranges from exquisite dunes layouts in the south to heavily treed mountain courses in the north. The majority (85%) of the golf courses are located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula some one and a half hours drive south of Melbourne in Victoria.

The area in the southern peninsula is known as "The Cups" with its wonderful undulating grassed dunes adjoining on one side the wild Bass Strait and on the other the protected waters of Port Phillip Bay.
